ANDY WARHOL
Would Andy Warhol be into Circuit Benders? We think so. We can hear him: "They play these broken toys, it's very psychedelic". Did that sound like Warhol? Ha ha.
Anyway, a big dream come true for us was to be booked at the Andy Warhol Museum. We were invited to teach a workshop at the CAPA School and do a performance later that night at the actual museum. Here's some information about our visit.

PITTSBURGH
"The roots of the circuit-bending Minneapolis electronics duo's style stretch far back, from 1950s musique concrete to Kraftwerk's "Numbers," from Negativland and MC 900 Foot Jesus to today's mash-up artists, such as Girl Talk." - Manny Theiner, Pittsburgh City Paper

THE WARHOL RESOURCES AND LESSONS
We have to admit (it is retrospect after all) we were in a bit over our own heads at this point in the game. We were driving ourselves to venues cross country, doing interviews, workshops, shows, rehearsing and trying to maintain our health and happiness.
While our visit to the Warhol was a dream come true, we arrived in Pittsburgh at 4am, got a few hours of sleep and walked down to the museum for an early morning workshop at the high school. We were irritable, unprepared and uninspired. But we tried...lord knows we tried.
