MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART SAN DIEGO

In October 2007 we were invited to do our work @ the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego. We were featured in conjunction with the Soundwaves Exhibit which featured works by Christian Marclay and Jean-Pierre Gauthier.

FRIENDS OVERSEAS - LIVE

Here is a wonderful unreleased track from Beatrix*JAR circa 2007. Friends Overseas is a sonic collage of circuit bent keyboards and sampled voices from our Walker Art Center Culutre Camp students performing a countdown and speaking backwards.

MCASD Part 2

MCASD was the first institution to fly us anywhere. That was a really big deal for us at the time!

The museum hosts a really fun monthly event called TNT. The October 2007 TNT featured a fashion show, a performance by Tijuana video/sound artists PR4gma and a Beatrix*JAR show.
